Be a lamp, or a lifeboat, or a ladder. Help someone’s soul heal. Walk out of your house like a shepherd.

Rev. Jessica Johansson, M.Div.

Hi! I'm Jessica.

As an interfaith minister, I honor and embrace the wisdom of all faith traditions and spiritual perspectives to best serve the personal and collective needs of a growing “spiritual, but not religious” population.

I am committed to bringing people together in loving ways, and acting as a bridge when needed. I am passionate about helping others celebrate life, explore spirituality, and experience deeper meaning on their journeys.

I engage empathically and compassionately with each of my clients, building upon the unique co-creative process that arises from within the encounter itself. Non-judgmental sacred spiritual presence creates a safe space for my clients to explore their thoughts, emotions, and experience

I am in service to all people of all faiths and to those who are "spiritual but not religious."

In addition to being an ordained interfaith minister and trauma-informed certified life coach, I am a Reiki Master Teacher, a NEDA proficient end-of-life doula and death educator. I am also the mother of two amazing adult children.

I bring my unique and varied life experience to the table as well. I have been a stay-at-home mom, the owner of a successful creative business, and most recently I held an executive management position in a multimillion-dollar construction company.  I have effectively used my coaching skills in every single one of these positions, even in my role as a mother.

All of these experiences have taught me valuable life lessons and prepared me in so many wonderful ways to answer my soul’s calling to help others live a life true to their soul. I use all of these modalities as well as the many things I’ve learned throughout my journey in my approach to working with others.

Broadening my horizons through learning is a top priority for me. Besides working on my doctoral dissertation, I completed the University of Vermont’s End-of-Life Doula and Companion Animal certificate programs and have also earned my National End-of-Life Doula Alliance proficiency badge. Becoming an end-of-life doula was one of those soul callings I could not ignore. While it might seem like the antithesis of life coaching, empowering someone to have a “good death,” is equally important. We may not have control over how or when we die, but we do have control over the way we face it. You can learn more about my end-of-life services here: Sacred Journey End-of-Life Doula Services.

I serve the greater Monadnock Region of New Hampshire, with my home base in Jaffrey. However, I am able to connect with others anywhere, thanks to the amazing convenience of virtual meetings. I support all people informed by any and all religions, faiths, and belief systems. Together, we engage with life through love and curiosity, rather than from fear or judgment.

I look forward to the opportunity to work with you!

Jessica
